Nar means pomegranate in Turkish and this ring is handsculpted as such, so as to highlight the state of being in between, caught in middle of the East and the West. The Nar ring is made of seeds, deliberately symmetrical to one another and almost randomly placed in the sides of the form, in a raw manner, so as to correspond conceptually but also semantically to the core of the collection. Inspired by the tangible organic composition and naturalistic form of the pomegranate fruit, the carving is completed by a frosting manifestation of rough finishing.
